Request to victek
Can you have a link that tells us which version is stable and which isn't?
Because it'd be really nice... As it is everything works except for these two things (reconnect/disconnect stop working after you do it several times over and over again) and QoS is messed a little, some connections(TCP) going into the Highest priority when they shouldn't

Added on April 2, 2009, 2:29 amUsed a workaround.
I believe this issue is caused by TCP connections made from torrents confused as NTP packets, and thus being queued in a higher hierarchy than normal.
The workaround is to simply place the bitttorent rule at the top of the list so everything gets dumped into class E first.
I don't know if this is an issue with utorrent(+vpn) or the router firmware, so I hope more light can be shed on this issue by someone who knows more than I do on this matter(I know squat.)

Sadly I can't say the other problem is fixed, and once it's there it prevails sad.gif
Disconnect/Reconnect button issue.

Under Access Restriction, I set as below:

TCP/UDP, IPP2P: All IPP2P Filters
TCP/UDP, IPP2P: BitTorrent
TCP/UDP, L7: bittorrent
TCP/UDP, L7: pplive
TCP/UDP, L7: xunlei

is it correct if I want to block p2p and pplive? what is the difference between TCP/UDP, IPP2P: BitTorrent & TCP/UDP, L7: bittorrent??

Not enable this. your router will hang.

suggest~ (p2p)
IP/MAC BW Limit
set low piority , tcp 20-50 , udp 5-10.

+

enable qos. victek default setting.

my wireless signal lost or dc every few hours. the old version work nicer than the new version. 1.22 version is fine for me. but since 1.23 the point after victek do some code optimization, my router wireless is unstable.

y is my torrent running so slow?? im using wrt54gl bridged with dlink dsl-520b.
im using tomato raf 1.23ND (victek). i only touched the "ip/mac bw limiter" wif UPNP function enabled.
im on 1mb streamyx package. last time i used linksys wag200g running wif torrents..it was no prob wif 100kbps above. but now after i switched to wrt54gl, my torrent is crawling at less than 10kbps. however, my normal surfing is ok. went to speed test and the results was 1.5Mbps. Why is my torrent speed so slow? wat's actually goin on??
anyone facing tis prob???

chiafoo, FYI
QUOTE(Victek @ Jan 26 2009, 05:36 AM)
1st. The LAN IP of the router can never be the same as the modem IP... first mistake. Change the router LAN IP to 192.168.2.1 and consequently your LAN IP will be in the range of 192.168.2.2 till 192.168.2.xxx.
2nd. If you want to see your modem GUI then you have to create a vlan (virtual lan) in order to trespass the router firewall from outside (modem) to inside (your LAN). Write these lines into de Administration/script/firewall Tab and then SAVE and Reboot the router for the changes to be efective.

/usr/sbin/iptables -I POSTROUTING -t nat -o vlan1 -d 192.168.1.0/24 -j MASQUERADE
ip addr add 192.168.1.2/24 dev vlan1 brd +

That's it, simple and basic to access bidirectional devices out of your LAN

tell us what u dl/ul most of time

afaik, my normal Tomato 1.19 longest 45days with same IP, base on my RS log

the most basic, yr modem must be good/handle DSL sync <== if super peak dl/ul can cause DC

some modem allow u to view certain details, dsl startup time & dsl uptime

question about this script:

/usr/sbin/iptables -I POSTROUTING -t nat -o vlan1 -d 192.168.1.0/24 -j MASQUERADE
ip addr add 192.168.1.2/24 dev vlan1 brd +

my modem's IP is 10.0.0.1, so...

/usr/sbin/iptables -I POSTROUTING -t nat -o vlan1 -d 10.0.0.0/24 -j MASQUERADE
ip addr add 10.0.0.2/24 dev vlan1 brd +

correct? used to be able to get it to work on my old modem, never got it to work on my new one.
