QUOTE(MyP2PCafe @ Sep 17 2009, 05:37 PM) Go to your system tab under the tools menu and enter " led white on" or "led amber on" . To turn them off, " led white off" or "led amber off" Wow!! thanks for the info bro...it works!!If it's possible that the LED auto light up when the router starts is much more better.. |

QUOTE(MyP2PCafe @ Sep 18 2009, 12:27 PM) Go to Administration Menu on your left. Click on it and you will see a Scripts Tab. what if i want the dmz and amber LED to auto light up?? i typed in like this:From the Init Tab, enter "led white on" or "led amber on". Save it and the next time you restart your router, the LED would auto light up. led amber on led dmz on But it's not working...only the amber LED auto light up.. |

QUOTE(MyP2PCafe @ Sep 19 2009, 12:12 AM) bsb85my, No no...this is not i wan. I do not want to enable the DMZ function. I just want the LED to light up only..go to your Port Forwarding menu in the tomato menu, select DMZ. Then input an ip address of one of the computers that is connected to your router. Of course you must tick the box for enabling dmz. Once done, your DMZ light would lit up. And if u execute this command "led dmz on", the DMZ LED will light up without the function enable. QUOTE(developer @ Sep 19 2009, 01:29 AM) here it is:![]() That box which I've highlighted is not working. I don't know what's wrong with it.. However, if I execute these 2 commands in the system tab under the tools menu..it will work perfectly with both LED light on simultaneously.. QUOTE(cruel_boy @ Sep 20 2009, 03:29 AM) hi. im currently using wrt54gl with dd-wrt. im thinking of changing the firmware to either linkysys or tomato. i want to ask some opinion. victek tomato can limit each IP bandwidth. so u can limit each client's speed. as for the monitoring..i dont think it's included..is it possible to monitor data/packet transfer of each clients connected to WLAN? My old TP-link could do that. i dunno y dd-wrt failed to have this function. can i totally limit connection speed of WLAN clients? in terms of bittorrent usage? limiting their download speed. QOS seems more to be advantage to torrent than being otherwise. Is it possible to set a blog or website as the homepage for everyone connected to the router. I want to use it to make announcements, n other details. Just set it as default homepage. All these functions are not available/working properly in dd-wrt. So looking for other options. tnx in advance. |

QUOTE(cosmiqeddie @ Jan 27 2010, 02:29 AM) BW limit doesnt work the way it is, when i was given a minimum of 500kbps down and 50kbps min up, im suppose to be smooth, but whenever my fren use ppstream, the rest of us lags. all 6 of the ip falls at the bw limit, wit all fair usage try to deactivate the BW limiter, save it..then re-activate again, save it.UPnP is not related to the bandwidth |
