24bit processor only works if you insert a 24bit cd.

it doesn't work on ur USB, MP3, or normal .wav files.

its an option, but if u dont play 24bit CD... why bother?

after all, you need quite a setup to really enjoy 24bit..

Well, I guess he might be looking ahead maybe one day he'll listened to a 24bit cd with quite a setup.

So, most mid end onwards HU has 24bit converter.

I would not go for JVC, or Sony by any chance.

Nowadays car player advertise 24bit from mid-level price range, wheather true or not as. Bench test a few of these & results not even close SQ to some 10 year old player of yester-years from Pioneer & Alpine. You guys make the conclusion here. Some ppl just wanna buy 24bit player but use cap-ayam hardware for other stuffs. My opinion is to to do a setup where-by the head-unit will be the final upgrade base on the other components already invested. We can see a lot of ICE setup in the market something like " Giorgio Armani shirt with Bata shoes".
