Ahh I used the Nikon R1C1. Basically, its on the left and right of my lens. But the leaf was closer to the left flash so it got more exposure.

I was going to join klguy on his KL walkaround but woke up late (an hour late!) and decided to go FRIM instead.

Here are some of the shots from the morning shoot:

Had a macro shoot at the Singapore Botanical Garden today. The day started off bad enough with my R1C1 running out of juice. Luckily the shop at the Botanical Garden has the batteries I was looking for. After that, I guess I was unfamiliar with the place so I was having trouble finding stuff to shoot.

But at the end of the day, still pretty satisfied with my haul smile.gif

1. Ermm soon to be fly? This shot was taken at ISO800. Why? Because I forgot to set it back to ISO200 sad.gif

Very nice shots there. I especially like the first one smile.gif

Btw, the tiger-like moth and red dragonfly seems to be found all over Singapore. I've seen them at other parks as well laugh.gif
