just dropping by to say thank you to hypermount for posting the TDC sensor fix at savoc.net.
Now it's problem free. Oh and is there no way to do some preventive measurements against this issue? |

Hay guys, savvy manual driver here.
Is there any permanent solution for the Crank Sensor/Throttle rust/dirty issue? It affects the driven by wire cars with symptoms such as ignition difficulty and 2nd gear jerk. |

I'm thinking around 4 years.
The problem I was talking about is pretty well damn common issue that is inherent in every savvy. My dad suggests sealing it with aluminum foil but my guess is that it'll prolong the life time before i have to clean it up again. Unless it's air tight, i don't see it as a permanent solution.
