i kena the brake lights thing b4... at the 1st day i get my savvy... i was not far from the proton sc filling petrol... so i drove back for the mechanics... one of them just came in and open something (driver's side) under the steering there... i dunno wat he did... kinda just check on the switches... thn everything is ok after tht... maybe someone experienced can explain tht to our matrix fren...

Just sent my car to a nearby shop to fix it. less than 1 minute kau-tim. Basically that thing is loose and not put in it's correct place. Charge me RM5 only!

I think i already noticed something funny with the rear lights b4 it gets totally weird. This happens after i sent my car for the spindle recall recently.

Must be Proton chekai mechanic didn't do a proper job of putting the switches back in place.

Really, the Mutiara Damansara SC sucks....also the people like looks very lan-si wan...like we owe them money or something. Also many times the SC staff didn't report my complaints down properly. Bunch of jackarse. And MD SC is suppose to be "Platinum SC"...yeah right... Unlike P2 SC (near the Sin Chew Jit Poh roundabout in PJ)...all very friendly staff....

Proton can tok cock about i-Care yadda, but in the end, it's still the same. I dun think i'll be sending my car back to proton after warranty over!!!

Is there any better Proton SC around PJ? Please share!

how about the shah alam 1? is it good? i'm finding a good sc for my 1st 1000km service tho

got 2 if not mistaken.

if jerking, check ur tdc sensor.

if speedometer drop to zero then jerking, check ur gearbox sensor.

thats the symptom i remember ler. hehe.



mine not yet change rear bearing. haih~jb no stock. damn.

i realise my car got this problem:
there is a faint 'klak' sound every now and then i brake. maybe once a day only. like plastic flicking sound.
anyone have this?

yeap i have that too.. but the cost and hassle to repair is beyond my tolerance to hear it once in awhile..
the problem is probably due to the absorber or the driveshaft.. i reckon the first thou..

anyway managed to get my hands on the gearbox speed sensor yesterday and cleaned the tips with a dry cloth and plugged it back in.. the symptom reduced significantly but still happens 5% of the time.. what's the surefire way to clean it up? with running water? i'm thinking decarbonizer and wd-40..

my family + my frens keep saying this to me:

1. aircond very cold
2. back row can feel aircond effectively
3. engine very silent when idle

i wish i can reduce engine sound during high speed.

try turn off ur ice. for the time being i turn on my ice to cover up the noise.

on the white noise injection. anyone can do it now
use audacity software to create a white noise wave file, burn it to cd, play it in the car while u r driving.
have to experiment on:

1. volume
2. phasing
3. mixing with music.
