i tested my savvy cornering ability to the max alrdy until my car made 'skreett skreett' sound oversteer, hit divider my car got minor dent and the front bumper pecah but the body juz like u see at the tv ad. throw by the monster but still ok

170kmh also still stable. some more the engine can tahan high speed for long time. im very heavy footer. the FC very reasonable (around 370km/RM50) even my driving style very bad that's why i really love my savvy

IIANM, the rules now is no more engine transplant from other car maker into Proton. can convert Proton to Proton only.

im driving 2006 savvy amt. 170kmh (on level road) shudn't be any problem. i still feel the car is stable, only the sound of the engine and wing quite loud. that's why i really love this car cos sometimes i really in a rush (my work nature) and my car got power to speed without compromising the stability (and FC as well!), easy to 'cilok' some more (not advisable )

im doing marketing, so always run here n there. everyday im facing traffic jam on federal hiway. if travel long distance, my average speed is 150km/h and yesterday i back from johor. 160km/h average speed from tangkak to shah alam if driving on non hiway road, im shifting my amt like rally car

i really in love with my savvy . he still going strong even i always hard and rough to him

and the best thing is, i still can get 370km for RM50 (100% hiway). if city driving can get 390km-415km per RM50. the reason why im getting higher FC on hiway cos i always drive my car to the max performance

juz pray that my car can last another 100k km

yesterday i made a record for my Savvy FC. RM50 can go 528km!! that's equal to 19km/L!

i can get this figure becos of;

1. i lighten my foot (used to be heavy footer)
2. 15% city the rest on plus highway
3. average speed 90km/h ( for the 1st time i drive really slow on highway. really torture me

who's from JB here? may i know where's the best SC for Savvy in JB? got any place like RS auto in Puchong?

it just a matter of your driving style. it's possible to get even more than 19km/L
anyway, it's AMT. i think can get better result for manual one.

40k is major service alrdy. try to look at your savvy booklet. you will know what are the things to be changed or replaced or checked at 40k service

ya, oil can get cheaper outside.

my previous service, the SC (not Proton) charge me RM93 for the petronas 800 oil.

my wife driving kenari. very bad at cornering. and drive 100km/h like im driving my savvy at 150km/h

that means your SC wanna suck your money. using semi syn oil can last for 10k km.

today i went RS auto for servicing my car. 1st time using elf engine oil and clean throttle body. now my car really smooth. can rev happily

i also met with 1 guy driving black savvy melaka plate. his car is black, replace proton emblem with r3 and got r3 line decal. his car got prob with the coil. wonder who is he

nope. but this sc is popular among savvy owner. they are Renault specialist.

cleaning sensor = RM30
TB = RM20
engine oil = RM 105 (roughly cos cant remmber)
amt oil = RM60 (roughly cos cant remmber also)
labour = RM20

problems like hard to start, jerking, krakk sound can be solved. ELF products is the best for our beloved Savvy.
