hmm jet engine as in take off or the pssshhh gas leaking sound?
the problem repeatable? for example, put in gear 1 then off engine, wait overnight then start in the morning.

lets hope its not the pressure tank leak

i will try to record the initiate buzz tomorrow.

u will hear a buzzing sound when u first open ur door
do wait until the buzz finish first, then turn ur key to ac.
u will hear another buzz. the indicators should light up for check engine, abs, airbag etc.
the indicators should go off, and the buzz will stop shortly.

then only u can crack the engine.

i break in my lengjai using the motoman method
got car then straight to nse drive to penang liao.
cruise at 120, peak at 140 also no problm.


i can say, my car become easily loose..can fly very fast. now can reach peak 160 ^.^

but... that could mean a dirty speed sensor in the wheel.

i thought 6k is the rev cut? do u mean manual can go beyond 6k?

ya i agree the amt shift is kinda slow.

hmmm.. found a way that might work to spin the wheels on amt:

first, deactivate the brake sensor (let it loose, will assume the brake is always pressed)
then switch to N (u dun have to press the brake anymore to shift the gears)
then tekan kao kao
then upshift to 1 (again, no need to press brake because the computer thought it is already pressed)

anyone dare to try this theory?

Added on March 22, 2009, 11:30 pmi did redline my car before. accidently downshifted while in high speed.
i think it went into 6.5 then 6k repeatedly
