Hi everyone.. i soon get a Savvy R3 already... the manufacturer date are 2007. Are it ok? seem many people told me it have a alot of problem.. now I almost get the car already...

how u manage to get 2007? 2nd hand?
i thought all run out of stock liao?

i read this engine easy to rev cos it got lower gear ratio?

did u guys change ur rear spindle edy? mine still in waiting list.

u ar the 1st i guess... i noe ECU fault by PDT...

what my friend do is.. go 2 OEM.. if can go at working days at early morning also can sembahyang subuh over there if u want..
then they will check 4 u.. if necessary, they will change ur bearing at 1st...

some say we can remap our ecu, can't use piggyback..what pin is that? on the ecu or diagnostic cable?

last time proton COE do open on saturday for customer to change the rear spindle... no bookings needed... just drive through...
dont know proton COE still doing it or not...

Added on July 30, 2008, 5:27 pmjust go la bro.. still have.. (only bearing)... but better check by ur self 1st.. jack ur car.. spin ur tyre... then.. touch the spring.. if spring vibrate.. then ur car in bad condition.. it may lock ur tyre.. better go to coe.. as soon as possible...

2nd hand for year 2007 how much u bought? rm25k?

now cannot change auto and at 3rd gear i step full acceleration the RPM only reach 3,000 is like got speed limit...Also changin gear 4 sec delay...within the 4 sec u accelerate then you only hear vromm but car not moving....I wonder if they change new ECU then use another few months then spoils again ah??? This car only 2 months old...The reliability sucks....

must hav at less 1 COE la at jb (i guess )... call proton i-Dcare.. as them.. where COE at jb..

Change ECU and if the installation is dodgy also no use.. the AMT is highly sensitve cars and proper wirings need to be done..

That rev limit is some kind of safe/limp mode. Happens in old renaults due to age/ wear n tear/chaffed of wirings... or improper earth grounding installation etc.

Sensitive also due to dirty sensors, all contact points/connectors need to be clean also not only the sensor itseft.

My ECU just after 3 years..all dusty cos never clean.



Just look at the testimonials of zaptor VS/ grounding users..with a simple device like that much improvement was felt esp on AMT users.

i get it at 27k. Mileage about 10k ++ only.


I think i know what u try to say already... haha... If want to use correct name, it can called R3 Zerokit + Proton Savvy. So outsider calling Savvy R3 lor... actual is not really R3, is just body kits R3.

schomatic.. u bought at 27k.. ist a full spec r3? got airbags and abs..?

mine savvy sometimes feel jerking at gear 2 and 3. happen less than 7times after been using it for a month now and i bought new 1.
when its happen jerking, i turn switch off and turn on again, the jerking gone.. for temporary im using this to fix my normal ride.. is there anyone know wat makes my gear jerking...? thanks..
been to Proton service centre, they using that digital plug in and check 1, but everythings was goin fine but my car still got jerking sometimes.. how to solve it...
