oh i bump into who already the other other other day.. like few weeks back.. pets wonderland now actually started to care bout underage in mid valley.. n their place of habitat no longer house glider that can sleep on a lampu.. it's good actually.. great to see a lil improvement in that..

Congrats on new version (eventhough I'm a lil late).

The suggie eating the slurp so cute! And the picture of all the suggie big big wan~ I so wan a suggie... my dad says ok but my mum says no till now.

Just a question, but how often does a pair of suggies reproduce? I think people keep their males and females together all the time right? So that means they'll reproduce non-stop.

Hun, when is the official SG gathering most probably be? And where is it to be held?? Can make it to July or not?? Coz me work la in dis 2 coming weekends.. Afraid cant meet u all, the SIFUs and INTERMEDIATE SIFUs again.. I missed the Petster event d.. Coz i know u all still have the official one, so am trying to be there dis time.. huhu not again kua for me to miss.. Working for getting money asap for SG!! Hehe

Can I add some info here Hun? From my experience as newbie, there's some stuff newbie like me want to know, but feel really segan to ask around..


a) What should we expect to buy?

1) Cage
2) Food bowl
3) Water bottle
4) Cage stuff (sleeping pouch, hammock & tunnel)
5) Bonding pouch
6) Breeder Celect Litter
7) Food (fruits, mealworms, slurp etc)

Ohhh, and suger glider of course..

Good to have:

1) Wodent Wheel (actually this already become must have now )
2) Toys (must be really careful on this, one will always tempted to buy every toy available)


b) Budget

Expect to spend around Rm300 to Rm600 for stuff mentioned above, depends on what you want to buy..please noted that the amount stated are not include sugar glider's price...chewahhhh macam iklan pulak..

Jamien, as I know.. those who kept pairs they have separate cages... and even they put pairs in 1 cage, the male have been neutered to prevent accident happen.. hehe this all I know..

mealworms always buy 2 days ahead the time u want ur glider to eat em.. cause they need to gutload and cleanse their system as well! so before u get any glider.. make sure u have equipments wit u and the knowledge importantly well equip with u bfore u get one!

@Jamien : Hi, there... Hehe According to SIFU HUN, any healthy SG thats being cared by responsible owners can reproduce for 2 litters per year... And if ur female is very healthy and get nutritious food, sometimes she can reproduce up to 3 litters..

But we can always interfere in their breeding livestyles as not to overbreed and caused much stress to the SGs => we can opt to [if u have MALE FEMALE pair]:

(1)separate the male from the female {not advisable coz they have been bonded to become a proven pair d-will further stressed out both},

or [better choice]

(2)neutering the male {females cant be spayed coz of their complicated reproduction structure}, but neutering cost RM RM and u have to know every operation have risks... hehe

If u haven't have any yet, u r advised to have a same sex pair..

Ok ok. Thanks for the info. I just wanted to know because people do seem to like keeping animas in male female pairs.

Plus if I'm getting I want 2 females. I smelled Hun's male smell... Not pleasant to wake up to. Like.. grease... and something else. her other hammie in Pet Shack that day was ok. I know males mark territory and "family".

Unless my bf wan a male then he keep his in his cage my female in mine lo (when I get in future. Hehe...)

Hi, Im really new to this forum and taking care of a sugar glider. I saw one at The Mall last Tuesday and completely fell in love with it. I bought it and call it Stich and Stich is 2 months old. Stich is so cute and I want to take good care of it. Currently the guy who sold it told me to feed it with apples and Heinz Apple Yogurt for Babies. May I know is there a pet shop that sells sugar gliders food and equipments in KL? Im staying at Pantai Dalam.

Actually, you need to feed more stuffs rather than just apples and that baby food. Please refer the first page. It has all the info regarding diet, proper housing, care and where to get all the equipments.

actually im shy la wan join u all gathering together... bcuz u all already 20++... im just 18.... still study....
