I think all these except GPU heatsink available at Lowyat Plaza.
But it's not confirmed, though |

It's a bit hard to find nylon washers. Ask for M6 spring washers instead. Where do you stay? I bought my washers from a little hardware shop in PJ, didn't buy screws though. And you don't really need to replace the heat sink you could just use back to original one.
Good luck on de XClamping.. (that is what you're trying to do right?) |

Sad to hear that you kean RROD. Good luck with the operation, just be very careful when pulling out the clamps and also wathc it so that the washers dont squash anything.

i've succesfully repair my xbox 360...can play over 24hours...
what u need is : -4 peice of ball bearing that can fit the x-clamp(make it tighter, but dont over force untill it break the board!) -put away the dvd-rom from the casing, let the air flow above the GPU heatsink.. * 1st step, reheat the xbox by pulling away the back-fan(if ur xbox is now 3ROD) * then turn of,and put back the back-fan.. * follow this step if u want ur xbox live longer:- -modified ur old usable small speaker. -change the magnetic speaker with a fan(mobo chipset fan or in my case,i use intel proc fan..hahahaha) -blow the fan above the GPU heatsink.. (beware - modifed at ur own risk!!) i've played almost 6 hours per day,& more than 24hours straight in weekends...but my problem is now with the Dvd rom..always stated that my dis is dirty....damn brand SAM*UNG..my fu*kin pc with the same DVD brand have broken twice in 2 years.. _3 ROD is an easy prob...the GPU heat cannot be resolve because of the HAMPEH(shit) air flow design!!!! cheap m*cros*ft... ill post my pic if i've time..coz i'm working now..hahaha.. PIEACE!! PM & leave ur email to me if u want some 'not so guide'..i've pic of mine xbox with the modification in .doc file. This post has been edited by pitok235149: Jul 4 2008, 03:48 PM |
