Hi guys and gals, figured I'd post here since girls are more experienced with these kinda stuff.

I have soft wavy hair and my front fringes are about 4 inches long(slightly over my eyes). Without any hair products on, I can't keep them neat and they look dry. My hair looks the best after I've just washed them and dry them with a towel, brush them to the side while still slightly wet *perfect*. I'm looking for a hair product that deos something like that, I'm thinking something that has moderate hold and slightly wet look. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've tried wax, it makes my hair look dry and I think it is more suitable for ppl with short hair.
I've tried gel that gives a wet-look, but it makes my hair hard and kills my wavy hair look and looks way too shiny.
I've tried some water based stuff, well..its like water, look good for a while but useless after it dries.
The only product I have tried that came close to what I wanted is Vitalis, but I heard that product discontinued and it is oil based .
