just wanted to share my experiences here when using the alternative broadband (other than streamyx)

I'm currently using the Izzi package, and most of the time it's quite decent. The USB modem is connected to my pc, and then a ethernet cable will connect the pc to the xbox. i'll just have to enable the conenction sharing capability from the network settings in control panel and i'm good to go. but of course, my pc would have to be switched on in order for live to be online rolleyes.gif

hi folks, sorry to dig up an old thread, but would need some assistance...

long story short, i've no longer have much options left for an internet service provided, and ended up with the maxis broadband (the usb modem). i'm aware that the setup should be to connect through the pc/laptop and enable internet sharing...

however, i'm on the macbook and haven't had any success getting the internet sharing to work. i've tried both wired (sharing through ethernet) and wireless (sharing through airport > xbox wireless adapter). both doesn't seem to work for me...

would like to know if anyone has got this to work. getting depressed, and desperate, with gow2 being just round the corner sad.gif...

thanks in advance...
