personally i think the warlock itself is fine, just the pets making them stupid. even as a rogue paranoia is annoying as it is. have to blow pre-vanish to get openers and that doesnt even guarantee it especially with human locks running felhunters around with perception.

as far as locks go, even that said "unbalance" is taking a toll on themselves. see how locks are pigeon holed into goin SL/SL, one of the reason would be the pet itself, and from there, going felguard became non viable compared to SL/SL because felhunters are superior to felguard in so many ways. in 5v5's for example: any felguard lock vs a non felguard lock = 1 sided free win. felguard would be banished, and their lock would be trained without soul link. and if felguard lock tries to banish felhunter, gg over 300 resist (more with shadow buff from priest)
then theres free dispel/counterspell/paranoia from felhunter vs felguard on just raw dmg.
