hi.. i'm ur senior.. at least, used to be ur senior... laugh.gif
its a good course actually.. hehe.. all my friends already got jobs, good ones too.
it all depends on which sectors u r interested in. u know, biotech or palm oil industry, etc
some of my friends got jobs such as QC engineer, chemist, etc

the percentage rate for penganggur in this course is really low u know..
from what i know, yg penganggur tu juz me and my friends, those yg nk smbung masters
cheers

during mhs (orientation) better u wear long skirt.. after mhs u cn wear anything that u want.. not mini skirts though.. nti all the lecturers juling mata. hehe.
even on mondays some of my friends did not follow the formal dress code.. but u must avoid the pak guards laa.. nti kena saman. hehehe
but anyway, u will find that it will be a hassle to wear skirts u know... coz to walk around campus, well, better wear jeans or trousers la.
like me.. i like to wear jeans to class.. easier to walk with tongue.gif
on mondays my chinese friends like to wear baju kurung.. easier.. xpyh pakai black and white pun.
actually its easy to differentiate juniors and seniors on mondays. juniors are those pakai black and white. biggrin.gif

When Im in 1st semester, my chinese girl coursemate wearing skirts above knee. When Minggu Haluan Siswa, the rulez are little bit tight because almost 24 hours of your time will be monitor by someone who take in charge of you.

Ssssstt... I tell you what, most of male lecturer is itchy... if you wear skirts, 'A' for sure... laugh.gif
No need to thank to me because I am more thankful...
*
no need to wear skirt to get A laa... juz mengurat lecturers sudah.. hehe...
setakat ni among my cozmates x penah lg la i saw those yg pakai skirts slalu dpt A..
even those yg selalu jumpe lecturers pn x semestinya dpt A.. owh except for your psm..

I don't think so..
The lectures are not like that. They will grade you on who you are and how well you perform in class and in the exams.
Nothing to do with your cloths. Trust me..

Sounds not bad...can i ask 1 more?? icon_question.gif

kimia industri and chemical engineering, wad r the dif??
if we took kimia industri, can we work in petrochemical field, like petronas, shell n others in oil refinery ?
*
well.. we (kimia industri) learned more on the basic theories and such.. if i'm not mistaken engineering learned more on the processes.
among the subjects. that i took were organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemitry. thats the basic. then i took environmental, corrosion, catalytic, food chemistry, etc. every semester we will be going to the lab, so make sure u like to do that, ok. thumbup.gif

we chemists r more to the lab kinda things. some of my friends work in petronas and shell, but they work in the lab. QA analysts, etc. engineers, if i'm not mistaken, they work on the field.

Well i heard from fren, job can find after dis course is like teacher/lecturer(which i dun intend to do) and working in lab. From wad he told me dat,job demand for lab, facility as well as number of lab in msia seem 2 b nt dat good/low/bad...is it true??

And he himself is ex-UTM,he told me UTM is famous of engineering while USM is better for the science courses,is dat true??
*
well... i dont have any statistics at all.. but.. what i gather from all of my friends, none of them tgh tanam anggur skrg ni.. everybodi got a job. even my seniors also.. most of them got jobs.. some of them even job hopping, changing from one job to another, to get good salary..
trust me, there are lots of opportunities for us out there... cume rajin or not la nk cari keje..

by the way, u kena rajin2 study la.. got good grades, and good personality, i'm sure u will get a job easily...

about the universities stuff, erm, some people claimed that. but, from what i've known, my lecturers (ur future lecturers), most of them are very qualified, brilliant, and got lots of awards from geneva, etc for their research works.. so i may safely say that our uni is not that bad... thumbup.gif alamak, mcm promote pulak tongue.gif

u have to learn first to know u like it or not.. well, me myself enjoyed my 3 years here, well, except during my final semester for the killer PSM.. wahahaha..

i'm on utm's soil right now... yippiee... n guys, psz got new pc wor.... hp... kaya nye utm... whistling.gif

u mean wear long skirt throughout the whole week izzit?
how bout knee length skirt?can wear onot during orientation?
muz b black n white for the whole week ka?
or i can wear other colours?
*
again i repeat, it is better to wear long skirt during orientation.. some of the seniors that are in charge of you may be very garang one... knee length i'm not sure, better ask other seniors, didnt they mentioned it in those papers that u got?
for 1 whole week u r required to wear black n white, unless told not to. during my mhs at the end of the week ada kelonggaran edi, can wear colours... so i juz wear baju kurung.. thumbup.gif

lol just wondering  whistling.gif
jeans also allowed..
refer to my previous post..i already explained to u  doh.gif

btw..if on monday,u r not wearing smart day shirts..better dun go to admin building,u r not allowed there  biggrin.gif and some colleges akan ade pak guard yang diarah Pengetua Kolej untuk saman sape2 yang x pakai tie for boys..they will block the main route to fac in each college..this is troublesome..usually Kolej 11(semi-PALAPES college),KTDI and Kolej 10...
*
among the fave hideouts for pak guards are faculty of science, psz and fksg.. so people beware arr... hehehehe
last semesters those pak guards (new ones, i suppose.. so lg rajin) they stalk students in front of arked meranti, n24..
haha.. pak guards are like snakes that we must avoid at all times... whistling.gif

ya there is a marrybrown at meranti arcade in UTM, but close alraedy, now open a stall from nelson (sweet corn one), agree, KRP is very convinent, i live there first year, but second year have been dump to K16 because no quota, lol.. so who live at KRP, please active to remain there.. i herad that, this year they open college application with KRP 0 seat, that mean initially already full
*
sy duduk krp for 3 years in row. tp since pengetua baru, dgr2 cerita dia banyak masukkan student2 dia dlm krp (sains sukan). but dunno true or not. maybe simply there are too many new students, so no place for seniors. huhu. imagine yesterday masa daftar i tried to apply for kp, FULL. tried for kolej 12, also FULL... sgt pelik. huhu.
so now i'm in K9. haih... tp xpe, dekat dgn burger.. whistling.gif

unfortuantely  , i dont think so .
well  , one thing i would like to comment on the hostel stuff ,perhaps it is not the real thing to talk in this topic . but there is a need to discuss and make it clear .

malaysian are getting somewhere off in their mind when they are setting standards for something . well i have been to several library , and what i realized is they don't allow short pants with slippers . well , i do understand short pants is not recommended for non-muslims , but i do take the slippers are not allowed as stupid .

the real meaning behind library is studying , and if u are having such strict conditon , can this be called as an 'invitation' with open arm to urge the public to come in . sometimes we need to think different , library is for ppl to study and read books , if we encourage people to go , loosen the rules , because the objective is to study only .
and this type of mentality happened in utm and unfortunately in KRP . the place i am staying . it is stupid enough  to limit the quota to sportsman , the pengetua of the college is sort of looking into the name of the college rather then looking into the quality of a college . To be honest,  a hostel is something for studenst to live , the objective is to stay during the studies . becasue of the pengetua mentality , we as architecture student who doesnt have fixed studio period will need to travel by shuttle bus to go to our studio becasue we only can get K17 which take 15 minutes to reach the studio or our place by bus .
*
well, i'm not a sportsman.. i juz join sutra and fiestra, thus i got the quota.. huhu..
library cannot wear slippers meh? i did wear them, but at nights only la... during the day i wore sandals

Wad smr i nid to fill up and bring to UTM besides those they mail to u??link pls if on9  icon_question.gif
*
well, if u dont like to work in a lab, thats too bad for you.. bcoz for 3 years u will be going to the lab..
seriously, i doubt ur teachers words, no offense.. coz i got real evidences u know..
other than chemistry subjects we will be taking management, marketing, entrepreneurship, etc
so from those subjects there are many jobs that will be waiting for u, trust me.. for example, one of my friends opt to work in jusco as their management trainee, another work in a company as marketing production exec, etc

r u chinese? if u r, when u come here, ur seniors will be helping u and guiding u and give u past yr papers, notes, etc.. thats their culture there
