i have some problems choosing some casings...
i have narrow down my scope down to
CM stacker 810 and
TT Shark
both are tower casing and around the same price. i'm still at lost at which is better compare to the other...

pls don't tell me lian li is better... i know it's good but i can't get lian li in penang!

so guys, in terms of peformance and price ratio...please enlighten me.
other suggestion of other case are welcome.

guys,

actually what do you look into when planning on a casing?
besides:
air flow, amount of fans it can support, weight, space (expansion of ROMS and HDD).. is there anything i left out?

if it does not why would so many enthusiast insist on using aluminum case ....

however the effect isn't that much different but weight itself is a plus point to own an aluminum case ...

doom,

if lightweight is the only reason to go for alu. doesn't that a bit overkill to have an expensive casing? for most of us, moving the casing is to clean the dirt and dust accumulated on a monthly or weekly basis...
if alu can play a major role in lowering the temp of the internals. if it does.. it's only about 1-3 C only right?

yah ..it's only about 3c of difference ... besides cooling the internal structure of the Alu case is always better than steel case ..
*
doom,

so theoritically not much of a difference between the two besides the minor temp, and the weight. bling-bling factor is up to individual..

i guess i'll consider again of getting a new casing... tongue.gif

Do remember that 1-3 degrees in temperature drop is not something that you should take lightly.

1-3 degrees of temperature drop is very high for me. thumbup.gif

That's why i choose Alu case. wub.gif

sHawTY,

erm...sHawTY can u tell me why 1-3C drop shouldn't be taken lightly?
i'm a noob in pc temp control...

my opinion -> when you compare the heat from ...lets say GC..
say.. idle is 50C with stock HSF, and say... idle 40C with 3party HSF (a drop of 10C),
lets say casing influence.. 37C (a drop of 3C) .. when i compare the drop between those two .. as in HSF and casing.. it's not that significant..
that's my theory by the way.. if i'm dead wrong.. please enlighten me.. hehe
