Ok...need to ask whether you guys on Good Casing and Bad Casing.
My casing is non-branded, chaplang brand, E-Mag, installed with 80mm exhaust fan, when I opened up my casing sidepanel, my system temperature drops 5degree. so, can i assume that this is a bad casing?

So, can I also assume that a good casing with front and exhaust fan will maintain my system temperature, even when I remove the sidepanel?

Does your casing has intake fans?
If not, then the exhaust fans is just a waste, plus, it's making your casing have a really really high negative airflow. No intake, but has exhaust. doh.gif

Actually only the exhaust fan is not totally a waste, it managed to reduced some temperature.... I'm just wondering, with a good casing, with good airflow, the temperature of my system will be cooler or the same with the sidepanel taken off?...
because right now, after i took off my side panel, my cpu temp dropped 5C degree!

For me if i take off the side panel, my pc temperature will raise up 3~4 degree.

2 fans ( 9x9cm )  intake and 3 fans ( 12x12cm, pci fan, 9x9cm ) for exhaust.

Nice!! Hahaha...that means this proves that good airflow in the casing really helps!! Thanks!
I'm getting Coolermaster Elite 330. rclxm9.gif Any bad or good comments??

Standard utilitarian casing lor... Works like any casing would but nothing really exciting.
*
May I know which is exciting casing? Still not sure wat casing to get for average budget. I'm not looking for fancy, pancy casing, just a good casing with good airflow (12cm fan) and silent.

The airflow of the HEC 6A34 should be fine I think? It's around RM180, not considered too cheap...

Hi guys, I need help of suggestion a casing with at least 1 12cm intake fan, exhaust role might be taken over  by psu with 12cm fan, Low noise will be my main concern.

At least 3 or 4 HDD rack above, 5.25' bay, at least  2 ~ 3? 2.5' bay too. Possible with cover door panel. NO TRANSPARENT SIDE PANEL, Not A BLACK CASING, only alu or piano white please, I hope you guys got what i trying to say here..

I have check out some lian-li case, some were suitable but way out my budget, RM700+, i have not decided on my budget yet, therefore i need a advice which Casing to choose for, no high end video card will be used.

I think the casing you are looking for is indeed Thermaltake Tsunami Dream, it's:
1. Aluminium
2. Got Front Door
3. Can opt for windowless sidepanel
4. Stylish too.

thanks for the input i am very glad with the suggestion, after some googling and research, i found some other casing which might suit my taste, need some opinion on them.

Lian-Li 767A

Lian-li 101A

PC B20A

Antec P180

i have not check other brand such as gigabyte, asus, silverstone, sunbeam, cooler-master, vantec, zalman etc. Any other casing from those brand which have a nice design which might suit me, you might just realised i like plain simple silver colour casing, multiple easy access hdd tray, and also 120mm IN TAKE FAN.

Thanks for the input  rclxms.gif

i can see you preference...very toned down, very non bling bling type. If I have the budget, i'll go for those too... whistling.gif

Where is ATE? which floor? Currently, there are only silverstone and lian li have affordable aluminium casing?

And what is the model for the stylish lian li casing? Its shape like number 6
*
oh...the snail looking casing....it's lian li memorial series. Last time I check was RM9XX but i think now ATE is giving special discount when I asked a week ago. It should be RM7XX if i didnt hear it wrongly..

Cases with doors will eventually wear out and becomes loose over a period of time, unless it's built with the highest quality.

@mADmAN,
if i wan to get those dampening material from car audio shops, how do i describe the thing? is there a name or a brand i can mention?
