QUOTE(general_odin @ Mar 8 2009, 10:33 PM) CM690 pawns all... i like the airflow and design on CM690, but just wanna ask, it will trap alot of dust or not due to highly mesh bezel design?cheap and very efficient air flow design... best bang for the buck case for a budget below RM300 its front and top panels are mesh bezel. |

i think we can't avoid dust , just use a paint brush to brush of the dust when the pc is off. It will make com look new.

What... No one import NZXT? No leh... cuz many people and cyber cafe ARE using some models like the... ah... forgot what name. Even local shops sell PC comes with NZXT casing. Oh, they are NZXT Guardian.
But as for Lexa... Never see it locally yet. But tht casing was released way about 3 years ago I think... When I first saw a review by PCGamer about a ultimate PC made in USA, that comes with Lexa casing. Hmm, what else... the other 2 casings you mentioned was pretty popular and easy to find though. I think that Aurora more worth it... Hmm, alluminium... This post has been edited by M1X: Mar 10 2009, 12:40 PM |

Oh and, is it brushed allu BLACK is more expensive than SILVER? Cuz an Aurora (silver) was RM470 while the BLACK one RM600... o_O" |

@M1X
Brushed black is more expensive coz aluminum in natural is silver color, hence, anodizing is needed to achieve black finishing, extra effort that need to be pass down to customer. the reason why black case offered by aurora or etc is more expensive is because of its popularity. These manufacturer know many would go for black rather than silver. so marking up price for black colored case ensure their sales revenue. |

OK then, another issue I usually doon't understand is which type is Mid-Tower and which type is Full-Tower?
All those Aurora, CM690, Raidmax casings... all at the same height, these are Mid-Tower? Cuz there are even higher casing like some from Antec... I count it before and it 3+ bay higher... And can fit 2 PSU -___-" Forgot what the name... How about those that even shorter than CM690, about 2- bay shorter... This post has been edited by M1X: Mar 11 2009, 02:42 PM |

CM690 is ideal for ur case, but it's just too common where alot ppl have that case.i would like to ask which casing hav the best thermal solution? if adding extra fan can make it better is also fine wif me. or any better casing to rec? beside gud thermal solution, the casing i would like to buy is having many internal HDD bay facing the side and screwless. thx in advance for any rec n advise. i dun recommend V9 (last time i was attracted to its design) as alot reviews saying its top panel is fix with filmsy plactic material which can break off easily. CM haf932 is very popular too, but must bear wif its 'ah beng looks' if u prefer mid tower case, i would recommend u CM Gladiator 600 (coming soon) it has 5 hardisk bays click the link below to see the CM Gladiator 600 internal http://www.hardwarezone.com.my/articles/vi...827&cid=18&pg=6 |
