If u are from town and used to being free like go out makan ke and such -__- being stuck in the kampung can sometimes drives u nuts lol
Plus the BUs aint that reliable laaa

haha... im not angry la... i also doing geology. n i also went to all major towns except south-west area. But frankly, i dunno much about those place la... since all are fieldtrips. so kami orang batu pergi sana pecah batu saja...

my fren doing conservational biology. last sem they all went to danum valley.... haikzzz.... too bad my course got nothing to do there. i really wanna go there...

haha.. dude... thats not need any passport to access in or out from sabah to penisular la.. i been passing in n out for 2 years without passport..

Yah man, last year when I was packing in KL just before going to UMS, I was kinda lost because very little info on the net! I ended up without a room for a week, had to stay in a backpackers lodge. When I finally managed to get a HEP room, man it was in such bad shape I spent a whole day cleaning the damn room, scrubbing the walls and all -- really wanted to cry Oh, and if I had known I could take a bus from KK airport to city centre to UMS for only RM2, I would not have taken the taxi that cost me RM35 Live and learn huh

Hopefully the next gen will be spared the pain Joe

I kicked myself out from the hostel after 2nd year... too much politics.. too much kaki ampu.. no internet..

I'm better off renting outside living with course mate and help my CGPA up..

Yah, I think stay outside also better actually. Nowadays you can get a good room in Kingfisher area for around same price of HEP room (RM150 per month). Plus outside room normally has fridge, internet, washing machine, etc. The HEP room I got does not have these facilities, cooking also susah. So for the freshmen, hope they will be aware about all these issues. But I'm graduating this sem so kind of too late for me! Joe

people learn from experience... let da juniors decide first after they experience it. dun poison them la kawan2...

and seriously... for those who can afford, rm150/month is not much.... but in calculation... staying inside is rm90/month.... you call that around the same price

but ya la... better facilities if rent own house. but first must have own transport... kf bus..

for me not much problem... im staying at IP...
