Well after switching from XP 32 bit SP2 to Vista 64 bit SP1, all I can say is theres no any weird issues such as claimed by most forummers here. Everything is smooth and fine.

- Copy file no prob
- boot time no prob
- shut down time no prob thou hibernate is better
- all softwares and games have no compatibility issues, heck even my 3D rendering stuff has speedup

I really suggest new users to read and understand your PC specs and list down the softwares you are using to check weather its compatible or not before jumping into the wagon just because u want a Vista OS. Bottom line is I am very satisfy with my genuine Vista

is your display driver installed? cause that might be the cause. I am using klite 4.14 with no issues
