OCed by intothefantasy for me.
now running at 3ghz 333X9
got it to boot at 3.6 ghz 400x9 but didn't test stability... the vcore kind high too.. since the proc is not mine...
1st night test OC a lot of problem... turns out my corsair XMS2 DHX 4gb got prob... after exchange new 1 all runs well...

i got problem with my front audio header...
using CM690 case which give 2 connector for mobo. 1 is HD and 1 AC 97 or something i forgot. i read the manual it say only accept HD connector but it didn't work... i plug in AC 97 connector oso still not working... ish ish ish... anybody know what is the problem here? i can't seem to find any settings in the bios....( PLS HELP T_T)
just went thru the whole tread now i found out how to disable the onboard sound i wan plug in my old sound blaster live 5.1 ady just wondering if i can find driver for vista...
and i found everest temperature monitoring the same as core temp. just another option for ya all.
will post photo of the rig soon.
oh yah.. about this board of mine... in the bios if the smart fan if left unset. the CPU and system fan will run at full speed..... until u open the tpower utility.... my arctic cooling freezer 7 at full speed is like a typhoon is happening in my PC.... geli.... the harbor fan run at 4000+ rpm oso pretty noisy... lowered down to 2500rpm

EDIT: waiting money for E8600 EO and gainward ATi Radeon HD4870 Golden Sample tongue.gif should get both of them around next month =/

the front audio header part.. there is 9 pin only... and the cm690 header connector have 1 of the hole closed which means it can only be connected in one way....... so i don't think it is a matter of in the correct position or not...

so far what i had tried... clear CMOS.. the jumper changing thing (yes.. did a lot of time last time when i wont boot i clear once..) no help
reflashing bios (just done it.. no help.. and my OC settings are gone.. which my friend did for me.. now i have no idea no OC back...) no help
removing everything and reinstall back the hardware one by one... still no help..
so.... any more suggestion?

Request: since i flash bios and my OC settings are gone.. i was hoping sifu here can gimme some setting that i can try on...
i still got my screanie of my tpower but i dunno what to enable and what to disable..
i am running on E8600, 4gb corsair XMS2 DHX DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 2.1v ram, coolermaster real power pro 750w PSU, 4870 GC...
previously OCed to 4ghz 500X8

PS: Ocing now is a pain in the ass coz as u apply OC and the system shut off.. i have manually power off and wait for about a minute then power ONLY the motherboard will post... then actually see the OC success or fail... if fail... there goes... 3 retries... 3 minutes of manual power off and wait and power on..... pengsan.....

can somebody answer my question please......
my motherboard problem is when i shut it down and i need to need to wait for a long time b4 i can turn it on again... if i just power on right away after shut down... the motherboard wont post at all.. the number LED on the board wont show anything.
this is very troublesome for me to overclock my PC since every change of settings shuts it off and turn on again... everytime i have to manually turn off the power and wait for a certain amount of time b4 i can power it back on in order for it to post.....
should i send my board back for RMA or not
tried clear cmos.. tried reflash bios... same problem...
it was ok previously when i was using E2160.
it happens after i swap to E8600.
(i did forgot to plug in the 8pin atx power once and the mobo would on but wont post.. then i realize and plug back in. could this cause my mobo to gone mad?)
