Hi guys,
I wanna self study for mcsa/mcse and etc. What I knows is that if I wanna take the exams for the papers, I need to register with Prometric and schedule my exam. Can you guys tell me more like after I'me selected the exam date and etc, what else should I do? Just pay and go straight to the selected exam centre and take exam without notifying anybody that I'm going to take exam there?? |

crapp0, MCSE is not MCTS - You need 7 exams to get MCSE while you can get MCTS by passing 1 exam. You can get more information on Microsoft website. One of the exam that I'm going to take next month is the 70-620 exam..passing that exam will make me a MCTS.
Another cert that's almost sama taraf to MCSE would be MCITP: EA but both on diff scope - mcse deals with w2k or w2k3 server while MCITP deals with w2k8 server. Anybody has taken MCSE and MCITP before? I need some advice on that matter.. |

firdausz, congrats on your MCITP: EA!! I would like to know whether should I take the MCSE track or MCITP: EA track. Which would you reco base on what you've studied? take MCSE or straight jump to MCITP: EA? I do desktop support as well as administering the AD but I know kinda lil about it..

QUOTE(firdausz @ Jan 21 2010, 11:34 AM) i would advised you to go fr MCSE. noted. i'll take mcse, then take the upgrade exam to mcitp le.. cool.. anyway, good luck on your joruney, mate!the cert's would never retired. while MCITP only valid for server 2008 and would be retired once microsoft issue new version of server. and many company still using server 2003 and lower version and even dunno what is MCITP @_@.. i;m thinking myself to take MCSE and become MS trainer after that ( LOL in my dreamz) |
