Hi guys,

Wanna ask for any companies that are hiring computer forensic ppl and if you know of any, can you recommend me some...
Have finished computer forensic degree and at the moment most applications have not been replied or the guys have pushed me to security engineer or even security support... (so sad)

have applied for Cybersecurity, IRIS, IBAS, but they have not replied me yet and its been around 2 weeks+ ...

-Currently have adequate skills in metasploit, linux, backtrack,
-I can perform data recovery for FAT file system, NTFS file system with expert judgement.
-I can conduct Mac and Linux file system data recovery with enough time, but i am not very skilled in this area.
-Also have strong understanding in field of cyberlaw, epecially upcoming personal data protection act, and can provide partial legal advice in workplace.
-Am going for CEH soon, Hope i can find a company who can sponsor me for MyCert, CHFI, and LPT training.

thanks in advance

does having IT certs but without having experiences in related field before demand for higher salary, not to say too high, but at least in a respectable amount??

eg.. freshgrad with CCNA certified?

Maybe mod, can pin this so many would know:

Certs is just your bargaining chip with the hr person who may interview you.
Many IT peeps would rather see if you know your stuff instead, and offer you the money based on your knowledge and wisdom.

Ie- having ccna cert to a job that you don't even touch cisco product will only impress HR not the IT manager.
