can you tell me if there is an offline co-op mode for the campaign??

to those people who have finished the campaign or played co op split screen until the 'relentless' mission, i am stuck after clearing the anti tank areas. They ask me to regroup with my team but i cant seem to regroup with them. The STAR on my compass is located over the ledge or roughly on top of the big turret that my team is standing beside. i cant seem to contiune.. have any of u encountered this problem? can you tell me how to get pass this part?
