Dear All,
I got quoted for RM1600, Avaxx set.
1. Is it cheap / expensive?
2. Avaxx is AP or original? I thought I had heard that only Zitron is original set now?

QUOTE(crayzee @ Oct 31 2008, 09:37 PM) Ok.Is Avaxx considered Original or AP? QUOTE(jackdaw @ Oct 31 2008, 10:05 PM) It's a shop in Klang. I'm not sure if outsiders can get so cheap. My family buy phones from them since 10 years already. Not only for family use but staff as well, so they know us quite well. The shop name in KTS. QUOTE(crayzee @ Oct 31 2008, 11:18 PM) Oh I see. I was Google-ing about it and found out that if Zitron distribute a model, Avaxx wont and vice versa. At the same time, I'm reading so many of those who posted are using Zitrons... so how exactly did Avaxx come into the picture? Despite Avaxx being original, I'm still curious to know. I will probably buy the E71 tomorrow... changing from N82. Cant say upgrade because N82 is awesome too. Yes, the price now is about RM1600 - RM1650 so I dont think my price is much better than what you guys can source in the market. |

Does it make any sense for me to jump to E71 from N82? Both are very very good phone on their own.

Quick questions: How to setup e-mail? Hotmail can or not?
We should have an owner list + an recommended application list. This post has been edited by Pennywise: Nov 3 2008, 10:38 PM |

Alrighty - thanks a lot!
Now, I have installed Garmin Mobile XT version 5 with a free map. I've been wondering should I turn off A-GPS so I dont get charge for data rate? Or it doesnt affect anything since I'm using GMXT rather than Nokia Maps? This post has been edited by Pennywise: Nov 4 2008, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Nov 4 2008, 10:01 AM) Yahoo mails also does not support POP account. There's a widget call Yahoo 2Go! but I'm not a fan of widget. You could use Opera to view Hotmail though but I don't think that's what you want anyway. I tried ProfiMail on Hotmail but not able to get it to work. At the moment it's safe to say that Gmail is your best option. Yea, it comes with Yahoo 2Go! but I am kinda tempted to download version 3 available on the net instead.Added on November 4, 2008, 10:04 am I would suggest you to turn off the A-GPS all the time unless you are having an unlimited data plan otherwise it would be like what the iPhone users are facing.. Is having A-GPS enabled so dangerous? With it, I can still get signal in a moving car but without it, I can barely get any signal even while standing still in the middle of the road. I take it as none of you has any A-GPS enabled? QUOTE(gaigene @ Nov 4 2008, 11:09 AM) Welcome to the club....Can I know where you got the Garmin Mobile XT installed? How much did it cost you? Thanks. I installed it myself.FOC. QUOTE(jon_jai @ Nov 4 2008, 07:03 PM) Hey guys, i'm not from malaysia so can someone appoint me somewhere to purchae the E71? somewhere with warranty and original phone not AP set? Where are you from and why would you want to buy from Msia when you're not from here then?thxxxxxxx |

QUOTE(tchiaming @ Nov 5 2008, 08:51 AM) I can tell you but there's no point because I had these installation files from a year ago when I bought my N82. Even if you have the instructions and without the files, it's of no use to you.If you google Symbian 60 Garmin Mobile XT installation guide or the like, you should find soemthing. QUOTE(jon_jai @ Nov 5 2008, 11:13 AM) I'm not from here but staying here for awhile (my vacation year) Zitron and Avaxx set are original and depending on where you're going in Msia, you can just buy from any phone shop as long as it's Zitron / Avaxx. I got mine 2 days ago for RM1600, so if the price is in range, just buy.anyone can tell me a place that sells originals? zitron and axaxx ?? |

I only have one problem - when I press on menu (whether is the left key or the home key), sometimes it wont load. I can resolve this by off and on the phone and try again.

Guys,
I have disabled Bluetooth GPS and Assisted GPS, I turn on Nokia Maps 2.0 and I can see the road name of my address. Will there be any charges if I use Nokia maps instead of GMXT? I have GMXT and had previously use it on my N82, just curious to try Nokia Maps because I've never tried it. What's your advise? |

I found the camera improvement feature very tempting... Anyone noticed any real improvements?
