hi guys..came across this thread and being a ex staff of rbc, i thought of sharing some facts..first of all there no racism as claimed by lalazhai..thats bullcrap..ZAX 2, if u failed the interview, the problem lies in you..dont blame race as the reason..

the problem with rbc is the bosses mingle too freely with staffs and some will take opportunity to 'bodek' and the brainless bosses actually fall for that..that causes favoritism..this has been misunderstood by some as racism..what asanta said is 100% correct..play ur cards well..

honestly, 90% of the processes are back office processing..which means the job is repetitive..the pay well but ur career will be in disaster..ur learning curve will go downhill..the so called fund accounting is not that greater either..maybe its just slightly respectable than the rest..i left rbc last year..i was a pioneer then..went overseas for training etc..but i realized i was going nowhere there(knowledge wise)..

Freshies should not go into RBC..u should take up something more challenging in life..its always not abt the MONEY..if RBC closes down, u guys have no where to go..trust me

Epiyana-thats something new..i cant advise u on that..RBC have expanded so i guess auditors are new..during the interview, pls ask clearly whats ur job scope..if u intend to leave Public Bank, think very carefully..the benefits in RBc cant match PB

yes yearly increment 5-7%, bonus 1-2mths..only the allowance is good..dont believe the 5-6mths bonus etc that they mention during the interview..not true..max is 2months only

if they said u got the job means u got the job..just wait for the letter..it may take some time

they are international??!! just because there are mat salleh and malaysians speak english ala mat salleh?? looks can be deceiving epiyana..
