wow... came for an interview yesterday, the environment looks ok i guess but looks can be deceiving , anyway was a bit disappointed coz the wages offered to me in my opinion is not attractive , i mean they tried to impressed me with all the allowances but the adjustment in basic salary is quite low , so after thinking last night i think I'll stay at my current place , coz i know that allowances can be easy manipulated by companies to benefit them ....

what exactly does not attractive mean ?

RM 1500 pm ?

what is not attractive is the difference between the current basic salary and the adjusted value offred by them ... approx 10 -12 % only... maybe attractive for you but not me as i can get that value during my yearly increment at my present company.... so it's subjective , if u think that 10-12 % is a good deal then take it biggrin.gif

gross salary is RM2300, aft probation is RM2500, plus transport allowance and shift allowance...

Rm2300 + RM 500 (transport) + Rm 250 -500 ( shift allowance) right ? they offer me almost the same except basic RM 100 less mad.gif

but hope you know that those allowances are not fixed means it goes down especially when you go on leave , something like you take 2 weeks cuti then transport allowance goes down to rm 250 .... and if you read the handbook properly they reserve the right to discontinue it anytime... not to scare you but to make you aware that's all...

Even though i did not join because of the weird working hours i think it a ok place to work (of course i maybe wrong since i don't know the actual work enviroment sweat.gif ) but have a positive mind give it a try ... biggrin.gif
