hi there . I'm also a fresh grad, got an interview for fund accountant next week from the mid valley jobstreet career fair . HAHA . after seeing all those comments bout the position, it also give me some nerves bout joining RBC . any tips for interv next week . ?

same as nasi ayam . the comp that interviewed me is RBC Dexia . I forgot the interviewer name but he's from Hong Kong, Manager of Fund Accounting (that is the position he offered me in that need to come for interview this coming tuesday) . He's Been working with RBC for 10yrs and . Transfered to RBC Malaysia for almost 2yrs now and yes, the HR lady name is cilia who was the one scheduled me for my next interview . Hehehe .. indeed . Quite hard for fresh grad to get a job now so I just give it a try for the RBC interview plus on wednesday, I got an interview with RHB offered position as an Finance Exec . Also, give it a try ;p

btw, what is MHFC . ? hehe .

No she didnt ask me anything related to my studies . I went to the interview room then the person (not Cilia) asked me to briefly explained bout myself etc . then he told me to set my next interview with Cilia . That's all .

What position that they offer u . ? Maybe that is why she asked u bout the bonds etc . heheheh . So did u happen to get the next interview . ?

Added on April 18, 2011, 12:32 pmI'm not quite sure how much they offer for experience person since I'm only a fresh graduate applied for the same position as well . From the interview that I went last friday during the job fair at midvalley, the working hours start at 3pm until 12midnite and as for the level of interview which I read in this forum, they got 2 level of interview . the second one they said is the conference call with the upper level mgmt from other countries . hehe .

lucky u then . the hk guy tu baik hati jugak lah . he did talked bout the job scope and asked u ques bout rbc and explanation bout urself . that was the thing he did asked me for the 1st interv at the job fair . for the 2nd interv last tuesday, i've been interviewed by person named nicole . she was the manager of fund acc i guess . hehe . she asked me ques based on my resume and then technical ques regarding acc transaction which i failed to answer it since i did forgot bout the acc term and all . haha . maybe that is why i didnt get the job i guess . hopefully i did get at RHB . yay !

I was being interviewed by nicole . She did asked me bout transaction . Like when u buy a house what is the debit part and credit part or when u buy a car what is the transaction and so on . I didnt manage to answer cause long time dy so I forgot . HAHA . then at the end of d interview I asked her since I cant answer her ques will that be affected at my performance, then she said yes . so I assume I didnt get through cause to be a fund acc u MUST know d transaction . that's what she said .

no prob . I was major in Accounting & Finance, that's why maybe she asked technical ques to me . plus my weighted average is so-so only . hehe . yea the first interview was at the mid valley job fair, then straight after the interv they will asked u to go to the 2nd interv . 1st interv the HK guy asked me the basic ques for fresh grad . What is ur plan in 5yrs time, describe urself, why u interested in RBC and so on .. for 2nd interv usually they will repeat d ques but depends whether u will get technical ques or not . if not then u're lucky like nasi ayam . hehe .

btw, congrats nasi ayam I'm still waiting for RHB to call me for my 3rd interv . haih .
