hmm...working in rbc as fund accountant is actually quite good for those who intend to get the knowledge and exposure in investment and share market ...

ie..fund accountant in rbc dexia will know alot of corporate action and alot of derivatives products like futures, options, OTC products, swaps, cfd shares etc...

i admit that fund accounting job is a daily routine job and back-end position in investment industry.

But, if u grab the opportunities to work and learn in this role, u sure can earn alot of things, knowledge and experience..

*i'm a ex-rbc employee..it is just my 2 cent..^^

haha..the main reason i left rbc is becoz i going to start up my own business...^^

when the time i left, i heard that rbc is going to expand and double up the amount of staff to 1k.. if im not mistaken la ~~

anyway, fresh grad can go and have a try since the paid for freshie is high..if really cant tahan or not suitable, den just change the job ...^^

nope, fresh graduates are entitled for travelling allowance 500 and shift allowance as well..

i think what jianjie meant is usually you cant determine which shift you are going to work in.. rbc dexia will allocate you based on your training performance and their needs...

there are several shift for example 3pm - 12pm, 5pm - 2am, 6am-3pm ..and etc
