Hi, been working here for 4 months but not as fund accountant. I applied for the fund accountant though but somehow didnt manage to get through the 2nd interview with the department manager. HR decided to send me to another department and i got another post in a different department with another manager.

There's not much tips to give because it depends how the manager sees you. they will ask similiar question. simple terms in investment, basic knowledge of the market, e.: bonds shares options. it'll be a bonus if you have a degree in finance. Maybe I was quite nervous with the first interview. Basically they just want to see your personality.

i just want to share my experienced through interview i had... my first interview was on 4th sept 2012 for position senior fund accountant...the interview quite tough since the post is for senior... it held 2 sessions, 1st with HR (if i'm not mistaken his name is Aris) and almost 40min, another 2 foreigner (a head and senior manager of process) interviewed me...huh i felt the time taken has killing me...they keep ask and ask without i cant breath out smoothly

i have no idea i cant get the job...because i was a fund accountant with another custodian and the process is same....but unfortunately i still cant get through...

ok, fine....and on dec 2012 (24 dec) i had attend another interview with same HR person (Aris) i have no idea why he still called me for an interview since obviously he had record of my interviewed before...what i really pissed off that, after done with him (Aris) he said wait for call for 2nd interview since most of the process person taken their leave for Christmas...but unfortunately i haven't received any call from him... geramnya!! i have no idea why....

what are shocking me, after that incident until yesterday, i have been received many call from agency to call me for an interview for this position...and i keep telling them that i had attend interview for 2 times but they haven't return any feedback why??...but yesterday, i received a call from 1 agency, and i already briefed her that i am bla...bla.... (attended interview) and she was surprised that it would not be a way... and she get in touch with HR in RBC looking for my record, and what surprised me, there is no records that i had attended 2 TIMES for interviews....

and she said, ARIS already left, and actually in HR department there are some conflict with cant be revealed...

and just now, she returned to me that i am shortlisted for supervisor of fund accountant, but i have to wait her to get and interview schedule for me....

sorry for long introduction...

anyone in RBC may share the questionnaire for this position, maybe salary they offer, please....really need yours sharing...

It's true. In RBC = heavy workload. Pay also quite heavy.
