tartar removal...man i've done this 2 years ago and i still can't forget how painful it was...and my teeth bleed non-stop for 2 days...no kidding, i need to gargle with water every few minutes...after woke up from sleep a thick layer of frozen blood stuck in my teeth...

well ONLY if u have a weak gum and don't consume much calcium though...if ur gum didnt bleed when brushing, then u won't have such things as i faced though tongue.gif

You have sensitive gums. You should try sensodyne toothpaste and also soft bristle brushes.

I always have slight gum bleeding at the back of the jaw when i use medium to hard bristle brushes & colgate/darlie toothpaste.

scaling not painful but will feel weird because after that can feel the gaps between your teeth happy.gif; Less than RM100 at popular clinics

eat before u go see dentist!!!

It's because the space between your teeth are already clean hence the 'gap'.

I did mine in Setia Alam for RM70 (scaling & polishing).

Whenever I feel the uneasiness when my dentist scales, i'll tell her it's not very comfortable and of course she'll ease up on the cleaning. Same goes to polishing.

Anyway, when I started to use Sensodyne, the scaling & polishing procedure was no longer that uncomfortable. FYI, I have sensitive teeth - particularly the 4 front teeth (upper & lower jaw).
