I read an article written by a an in-house game tester many years ago (btw, i'm still young if you must know). From the outside, many people would think that it is really a fun job to do. Hey, after all you are just playing games! But...no, apparently. Just imagine you are testing the Mario game. You will have to hit the brick say 400 times to see if there is a bug. What happen will if i hit it 401 times? I will go nuts really doing the same thing over and over again - with a Mario!
But if your passion is with games, then go right ahead. If you think you can have a good career as a game tester, don't let others to tell you otherwise. Good luck!
