i'm just wondering if anyone has had a severe foot allergy reaction to some leatherwear?

i was unfortunate enough to be affected by such event when i wore Lewre patent leather pumps.
the shoes looked harmless and yet deadly.
my feet looked burned and they were swollen.
i suspect it was the chemical used in the tanning of the leather.

i've emailed Lewre 2 days ago and have yet to get a reply.

p/s: i'm trying to attach pics of the offending shoes but to no avail.
anyways, it was a cheap knock-off of Ferragamo best selling pumps and cost me RM239.00.

OMG, I've had the same thing going on.............good to know I'm not alone...........I only have one pr. of patent leather shoes and it's happened both times I've worn them.........so, I'll get rid of them, but did you find out anything else about this?

I have 3 pairs of Lewre pump shoes which I had them 6 years back. So far I only wore 2 pairs on and off and didnt develop any allergy. My mother in law and sister in law too wore the same batch as mine since we have them altogether at the same time. They didnt have allergies as well. Is it very recently that you bought your shoes? Very lucky that you notice and take action immediately.. Keep us update on Lewre's feedback..
