Normally I'd suggest that for an acoustic/spanish guitar you get a good one even if you're a beginner. Because most people don't go out and buy a new one once they get good at it. They just proceed to a higher/different level of playing like electric or blues.
So if possible, go for the higher range.

For 500 you can get a good guitar at places like Bentley and Guitar Collection.

i have a valencia thats 2 years old..its version is CG160 if im not mistaken..what do you think of it??

i don't think you have to change, just pick up acoustic while playing the classical at the same time smile.gif
you can even play acoustic songs on your classical, like some people do. nothing wrong with it really

quite a number of bands use acoustics strung with nylon strings for a mellower sound which sounds great actually

Malaysia got bring in Maestro guitars ar? Made In Singapore guitar. Heard from Singaporeans it's not bad. the price is quite resonable, entry levels also quite good.
