I have BOTH TMnet and Metrofon at home.

Metrofon is decent for DLing, but I can actually get the equal speed on TMnet most times. However one thing which I dont like about metrofon is the fact that it's extremely slow to overseas site. Even SLOWER than TMnet, but locally it's extremely fast like what Quaza pointed out. The +point for Metrofon is that if you were to download on say BT, and if you're lucky enough to connect to another metrofon user seeding/simultaneously downling that file, then it is extremely fast, like LAN. However, that's not often.

-ve point for Metrofon is that it SUCKS for gaming, at least from my DotA view point. The latency to the host eventhough he is in malaysia is never faster than my TMNet connection. This is a big turn off.

Thus for the past couple of months, I've been just connecting to my TMnet provider and leaving Metrofon to rot.
