ive seen quite a few fd2 tht can pawn fd2r ... on looks haha. they look much cooler and aggressive thn any fd2r and yet the modifications r cheaper and ppl wont go around doubting ur 'fd2r'

But if i insist on replicating, i will choose mugen honda civic dominator! way nicer ... but sourcing for tht Alfa 156 style rear door handle could b a BIG headache.

well, just on the topic itself... nothing wrong with the idea getting a normal 1.8 civic & try to "drees it up" to look like the Type-R, as long as u willing to spent those money & feel satisfy about it then its fine...

but to expecting that this "dressed up" civic to perform like the real one is totally out of the question...
and thinking of it'll attract more chicks is just plain self-satisfactory coz an average chick can't really appreciate the real capability of a real type-R....
for that purpose, i think just spray the car white is good enuf... at least u'll already hear more comments like :" wow, nice white color civic, very attractive" from the chicks....
