With a budget of RM1.6-1.7k........ more worth to buy a 2-3mths old HTC Diamond.
At least you are assured of another 10 months of warranty.
Many users are selling in that price range.

Try avoiding P3600i which has only 64mb Ram/ 128mb Rom.........
with today's applications, its definitely not enuff.

diamond is limited to 4gb & has no expandable memory slot...... a real bummer in this day n age.
quite a waste since microsd 8gb card costs only rm70

i do travel quite often...... eastern n western europe gps maps is already almost 2gb+
also, i like watching movies..... 700mb-1.3gb movies are my favorites.
its more convenient with larger memory available rather than always having to remove n replace files.

all bears down to individual users........

Wider screen is definitely nicer for movies but may have compatibility problems with some games.

Since u are a new user, why not consider getting a used unit?
Since you can’t decide with absolute certainty between the 2 choices, buying it at RM2.9k is risky since you will lose 1k if you decide to sell it off after a few months.

Touch Pro 3-4 months old is readily available at RM1.7-1.8k with local SIS warranty. Just look thru garage sale or at lelong.
Xperia price is about the same or slightly lower.
