If there's ever an argument for Dolby TrueHD to be made, this is it!! I found the dialogue quite intelligible and the surround field VERY active, however with this film it's all about the BASS!!

One word: INCREDIBLE

I don't think i've heard bass this intense before. I was impressed by how cleanly the TrueHD delivered it. Probably the tightest bass i've heard!!

It's funny, just when I crown MASTER AND COMMANDER and then THE ORPHANAGE as the best lossless mixes out there, here comes CLOVERFIELD that just might exceed both of them!

I've said this before, I'm saying again. Cloverfield is the one that makes me think to upgrade my subwoofer. Just the thumps at the opening logo already made me decide to get the Velodyne.

The Dolby TrueHD on Cloverfield is one of the best lossless tracks I've ever heard, really rivaling those DTS-HD MA titles.

Like "a lot" of the ppl here.. I'm using the v663.

I was at Amcorp mall the other day and this shop recommended me the following PSBs
Alpha T-1
Alpha B-1
Alpha C-1
Subsonic-5i 10" (I would presume this is the sub)

The guy quoted me RM 4300 for the set above.. When I auditioned it (using Andrea Bocelli, Under the Desert Sky DVD), the clarity was good but there was a distinct lack of bass.
So what do u guys think, Alpha T-1, B-1, C-1 & Velodyne CHT-10R.. Good combination?  tongue.gif  or u sifu's here can recommend a decent set for a budget of RM 5K?

What happened to those guys who were giving away a free blu-ray player if you buy like RM4000 of blu-ray titles? Are they still around?

No problem for that...

I currently paired the Velo with my PSB too...T1 & C1 with 4 satellite speakers....the music is fuller and richer with deep and involved bass unlike my previous sub which I always feel like a a tag slow and no umph...

They quoted you a very good package except the sub lar.... tongue.gif
