Mostly based on PQ... but don't get me wrong, if movie like AvP: Requiem or Meet the Spartan or some other crappy titles get a 5/5 PQ, I'm not gonna buy it. It would be based on my preferences AND my budget. IMDB is my best friend here...

I don't have some badass sound system yet so AQ is not important.

For me, the storyline is more important and sometimes, it is unfortunately that some of my favourite movies have poor PQ and AQ but I still buy them, maybe because they were a few years old and some imperfections are hard to overcome or get rid off but as long as it looks and sounds better than my standard dvd, it's good enough for me.

I enjoyed watching Harold And Kumar, will definitely buy these two on BD.

Some people like to collect boxsets which might be priceless one day when they're out of print.

Finally watched the National Treasure 1 last night.....superb PQ/AQ and an interesting movie too....Recommended

Long weekend for me, got 5 bds to finish . Very happy with MiB transfer, looks very good. I Am Legend, no need to say already, is reference quality stuff and i find the story not that bad lar. Underworld is great! Has plenty of dark scene to test the blacks of your pj and lcd (plasma no need lar - the champions of blacks ). I always have a thing for western movies, so i grab 3:20 to Yuma as well during the previous sale, no regrets at all - great transfer and a good story. My last bd - Flags of Out Father was a bit of an anti-climax as the picture quality was good but there's no lossless sound. That's it for my bd marathon weekend.

On the contrary, THE train did come in late. The station master did confirmed that during the earlier part of the final shootout. I was er.... technically not wrong

PS - sounds like a good cover line right?
