watching KungFu Panda with HM tonight.

Biz ok lah. But, LCD TV and plasma sales took a nosedive. sigh

My friends watched Kung Fu Panda without me.

But now I kinda glad, can't wait to watch it for the first time in glorious 1080p HD and lossless audio!

By right, it should have a Canto track since it won't occupy much space with an additional track.

Fox Home Entertainment in conjunction with MGM Home Entertainment have announced that they will bring six classic James Bond films to Blu-ray this fall. All six title - 'Dr. No', 'Die Another Day', 'Live and Let Die', 'Four Your Eyes Only', 'From Russia with Love', and 'Thunderball' - are currently planned to hit store shelves on October 21st (October 20th internationally).

Each title has been received frame-by-frame restoration by famed film restoration gurus Lowery Digital Images.

Eric Doctorow, General Manager Worldwide, MGM Home Entertainment commented, "With 'Quantum of Solace' on the horizon, Bond fever is building once again and there is no better time to re-introduce these beloved films featuring the best picture and sound quality available today to the 60 million+ HD-capable households worldwide"

No technical specs or supplemental features have been announced at this time, but we expect more information to be released in the coming weeks.

Added on June 18, 2008, 8:55 pmLionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that they are bringing the Jet Li and Jackie Chan film 'Forbidden Kingdom' to Blu-ray on September 9th, day-and-date with the DVD release. No technical specs have been announced for the release at this time, which will come as a two-disc set.

Added on June 18, 2008, 9:18 pmYour PS3 is about to get a digital gift in the form of another firmware update. Version 2.36 will improve "system stability when playing select PlayStation format software titles." That is to say, not a lot. Still, the latest PlayStation Blog post has finally confirmed the rumors that another firmware update is on its way at some point. 2.40 will include in-game XMB and trophies. But you already know that.

There's no real timeframe for either of these updates, but you can expect to see v2.36 within the next day or so. As for 2.40, the PS Blog is careful to stress to us that they, and only they, will be the source for when it is coming. You may have heard various rumored release dates for the update which have passed by uneventfully, so that's clearly something to keep in mind. Needless to say v2.40 will get the full video tutorial treatment, as usual. We'll let you know as soon as we're told anything new.
