yes it's true the camera on the iphone juz only on 2 mega pixel, but the colour of it is fascinating..it would bloom u away..sort of 5 megapixel instead..

the function's are breathtaking...with some tutorial and guideness..u wouldn't believe what so called "iphone" capable of unless ur using it.. rclxms.gif

sweat.gif sweat.gif A lot of people don't understand (not saying you hehe) that megapixel count has the least correlation with photo quality. You can have 12 megapixels but if your camera sensor is shit, your pictures will still come out awry. Unfortunately, most people associate megapixel count with photo quality and the phone manufacturers know it, hence the megapixel race among the newly released phones..

Hey guys,

I have been reading a few reviews about the iPhone ( planning to get mine ) but apparently most of the users that reviewed the phone said that it is not very user-friendly and how the camera lacks of flash, macro, zoom, etcetera. I'm not exactly particular about the camera b/c I'm not planning to use the camera only anyway. Besides, comparison are often made w/the Helio Ocean. However, one of my personal friend think that it is pointless to buy one b/c of its usability issues but she said for the design wise; it's really good ( she has an iPhone ). Well, I have meddled w/the iPhone before, but not the sending and receiving messages part neither the music or video player ( which I think it should work the same as any normal iPods especially the iPod Touch ).

I'd like opinions from the users of iPhone whether it is worth investing on this cellphone or not b/c I'd really want concrete and personal opinions before I get mine. Thanks!

I would say that the best way is to hold an iPhone and try it out for yourself. iPhone has a capacitive touchscreen unlike other touchscreen phones on the market so it's very very finger friendly. There are some niggly issues with the iPhone but nothing that can't be sorted out using 3rd party apps.

Still it's a matter of preference and it may not be everyone's cup of tea so you should try it out for yourself first before deciding...

Niggly issues such as no MMS, video recording, can't forward message etc. Might not be an issue to some people but if you need it, there are 3rd party apps that can rectify that.

Owh, if you're getting yours from the States, you're out of luck. There is a new ruling now that requires users to sign up for a contract on the spot so you can't just buy one and leave like last time..

I guess you cannot compare the iPhone w/Nokia, SE and PDA phones. They are entirely for different purposes. That is how and why I decided to post it here. Besides, I have been using a smartphone so I guess I need some changes.

Just curious, you are getting it locally, right? Because like I said, you won't be able to get it from the States because of the new buyer policy.
