7kg pack is like selling at the same price only. I think 10kg onwards will help you to save some money.
That also depends on how many tight containers do you have.

Mine Eaglepack chicken for puppy 3kg, RM46.

Don't say 7kg, you buy 3kg pack then later buy another new pack and compare. You should be able to see the differences.

I think brownish color is when you feed them kibbles + water. Sure kena.
