why must look for Blackwood? there are a lot of better foods around. Blackwood caused my boss's cat to die before.
Price for dog kibbles, Where and how much do you get them?

oh forgot to mention reason, it is fungus which cause infection. cats are very sensitive to food. till now only Orijen can fuifill them. for dog it wont be so sensitive. We stopped Blackwood then and give Eagle Pack, Orijen, and Artemis.
For me Blackwood is just too cheap. If small breed which dont eat much should go for better brands. it wont cost a lot. |

QUOTE(iluv2zzz @ Jan 4 2009, 01:50 AM) hmm.. so all the while is misunderstanding? I thought fungus ON the cat, its like a skin problem....................... ROFL... what a day. yes sorry that i created misunderstandings. i was too busy to write details but i think i need to mention this to ppl as it is severe case. As Ruth said, the fungus is in the food but not on cat skin. cats are very sensitive but not as ppl said got "9 life". to me their are half life or chinese calls one leg in coffin all the life. single small mistake will take their life. so fungus cause some cats die at the time. Added on January 4, 2009, 1:51 amdo you mean the food was contaminated? For same price range, i would recognize Regal as we havent seen any foreign object whether life stock or plastics in the food. Why want to take more risk on same price food? We just want to share and alert consumers that what they should know. |

QUOTE(sinv @ Jan 6 2009, 05:02 PM) I asked my vet b4, his opinion is Blackwood is better than Regal although they are from the same company. i didn't actually ask the details cos i'm feeding some other better food from my experience vets sell Blackwood, sure they say it is better. you try to ask wat food is the best, they sure say Hill's, they are distributor in Malaysia. It is bloody expensive for its price. Blackwood is good for breeders, as it increase productivity greatly, but somehow reduce health. Imagine you eat pills and give birth 10 babies, how terrible. |

yes only little vets are not money minded, Dr.Toh is the one i met. She is master holder, UPM lead lecturer, but just driving an old Saga. She want knowledge and good for animal, if you claim you are rescuer, she will charge lower price. A really kind hearted ppl. But not for her boss, Dr,Ding who is bloody money minded.
Blackwood and Regal belongs to same company, just that each brother in charge one brand. ANF also their products. BW can make more productive you have to find it on packaging. I dont remember dog or cat or any series, that time i search also dont have. But we saw that before. yktan, are you sure RM49? dont have discount? Artemis is giving introductory discount 15% whole Malaysia, you must have been cheated. |
