Was shooting the dim sum and when I got home, I thought, why not try something new?

The result, well it is not the best, but I thought it was interesting enough to share.

1. Sio Mai with scallop!

6. Peking duck

I think the first shot lost too much details while the effect seems to work best with the har kao. Let me know what you think smile.gif

Nice. The dreamy white effect gives the feeling that its still hot, steamy and freshly cooked. Yummy! drool.gif

The Sio Mai with scallop *slurp* seems like a bit soft to me. What aperture and lens did you use? Just now I was thinking whether you the same guy who made me licked my LCD after looking at ya dessert pictars. tongue.gif
*
heh, actually the pic was a bit soft to begin with. Focusing wasn't sharp. So tambah the dreamy effect lagi soft. Aperture was f2.8 andddd lens, whatever came with the G9 biggrin.gif

QUOTE(CrossFirE @ Jun 11 2008, 11:24 PM)
what camera are you using now eh? biggrin.gif
*
Canon G9, as viking has pointed out.

Just saw the title, maybe zio purposely made it look soft to have some dreamy effect. biggrin.gif
*
That was the intention. And the result is that it does not work for everything! haha..
