When I first transferred mp3 songs from itunes to iPhone, I found all of them in iPhone. But when I tried to transfer more songs in iPhone, I can only see the newly transferred songs and not the old ones. Does anyone know where exactly I should look for them? Am i missing something? Ya, the transfer was successful in all the cases.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you transferring the songs manually or are you syncing with your library? So the problem is, you checked your music library in iPod>Songs in your iPhone and it's not there?

You're using an unorthodox method but it doesn't seem to be wrong.

If I'm not wrong, your method is:

1) Create a "mp3" playlist on your computer's music library

2) Create a "mp3" playlist on your iPhone

3) Sync

Correct?

Here's an easier way that I use to transfer music though:

1) Turn on iTunes. Under the iPod/iPhone subsection, you should see a "Manually manage songs and videos" box. Check that box.

2) You can now drag and drop music and video files to your iPod/iPhone library without syncing with your library by simply dragging the file and positioning it over the iPod/iPhone heading. There should be a blue highlight over the heading. Release the file.

If you want to create playlists later, just create it under your iPhone section.

Try it out and let me know how it works for you..
