What is the weight limit if I buy from Play Asia before I get taxed by the Malaysian Government?

no weight limit.but as long as the total cost is not RM500 it should not be taxed

i beg to differ. I have been using the free shipping without any tax issue. It applies to 2 of my ps3 kaki who regularly purchase fr PA using the same method.

From what i gather, using courier service had higher chance of kena tax.

Yup, using free shipping not subjected to tax but i've never purchased anything above RM 500

So far I never kena tax before when buying from Play-Asia. BTW, how do customs contact us in an event of taxable item? Then we have to go somewhere to make payment and collect our stuff?

they will send you a letter informing you that ur package has been taxed. then you have to go there within designated period or ur item will be returned to the senders.

actually they will tax when the items came in large quantities. usually those few pieces type they will release it.
