I quitted WoW months ago after the Netherwing patch was released. My gears are only up to Gruul when i quit

You can armory my shaman named Ngau from Jubeithos. Its currently in Resto gear but my enha gears would be better than my resto gears since i spent more work on it

If i play back WoW, i might have the chance to get into a SWP raiding guild in Jubeithos but i doubt i will be allowed in end game except maybe some easier TK/BT/Hyjal bosses after gearing up a bit through heroic and buying some craftables/BoJ gears

Do you think its worth it if i spend time gearing up as well as having to farm gold/dailies to buy consumables and mats as well as gold for future use? I gave out all my gold about 5k+ and mats which may cost another 1k-2k at the time i quit. That amount is quite a lot few months ago if i'm not wrong. All these are for the purpose of hoping one day i will be following my guild(assume i can join) to end game raids.

Or should i just wait till like 1 or 2 months before WoTLK released? Then i could just gear up a little and by the time its released i would use the new 70-80 gears instead.

Hope you guys could give some opinions on this and also let me know if enha shaman is useful in endgame raids. I would prefer to play enha cause it will allow me to farm back my gold when i'm free

Thanks and hope my post isnt too long until it deserve a TLDR reply

I would wait for WOLTK. Enhance shaman are considered a must in end game raids, especially for sunwell. Other than that, the other raids are so easy that an enhancement shaman is not required.

Offspecs, especially ret pallies have gained a lot of respect after sunwell came out.

Er, coz of totems? + the added ap bonus to rogues? Thats really imba man. They can easily boost rogues dps by 150-200, easily.

Nope i'm not from Kome but when my guild disbanded my guildmates were split into Kome who is now Minerva and also Impulse which is probably one of the top guild in Jubeithos now after Genesis disbanded and Pantheon being less hardcore.

Maybe you think i'm from Kome cause sometimes i group with them do quest or instances tongue.gif

Anyway orangbulu, how many enha shamans usually can a 25man raid afford? Last time when i used to play its like everyone hates enha shaman cause i will take their loots. By the way, i dont mind going resto for raid. The only reason i prefer enha if i play back is due to it allowing me to grind mobs for gold easier

Regarding WoTLK, i thought it will be somewhere around end of this year like Warhammer Online?

Oh yeah, if possible please check my armory and see which raids i could go with that type of gears?

My guild runs with 2 resto, 1 ele, 1 enh. But we are going to recruit 1 more enh to put him in the tank group, and give the tanks agi totems. And since we put hunters in tank group, the shaman will also boost their dps

I would say that shaman are the most in demand for sunwell guilds now. If u want T6 gear, just grind all your boj items, and i assure you that u can get into a sunwell guild easily.

So i guess now i just need to know the availability for shaman raid spot and also how far my crappy gears can go for now.

I've read the other thread by Myremi about whether to bring undergeared guys to BT/Hyjal and it seems that it all depends on the guild which is the situation i might be facing. I stopped reading after the thread got derailed lol

Is gold hard to come by and is it still useful now other than to buy consumables?

It will be nice if i know the exact release date or some trustworthy prediction when it will be out

Gold is extremely easy to farm now, especially on Nagrand server. Primal fire 45g, primal shadow 51g, knothide leather 25g a stack, dreaming glory 50g a stack, flask averages about 75g.

The only things that are getting cheaper are enchanting mats T.T

I only use my gold to buy raid consumables/repairs/ mats for raid. Nothing else really

And sadly, my guild and another horde guild is one of the main causes haha, we buy almost everything from the AH for our sunwell push.

Hmm at 1 time, nightmare vine was 90g. Epic gems sell for 4-500g, fel iron bar is 2-3g per bar. terocone is 60g

Btw, anyone has any info or sites that show what are the certain requirements a shaman should meet if he were to enter certain raids?

Like how much mp5 or healing or anything a shaman should have for his role either healer or DPS? I would like to know how far behind i am compared to the average players now

Anyone who play a shaman here could enlighten me?
