Just wondering, is it worth it to buy a single storey house at taman permata for RM200k.
Its near giant and MRR2...
I think the house is 22x70.
3 Room 2 Bathroom.
Renovated at the back and front a bit.
Anyone care to give some opinion...

Not a big fan of single storey house there - too near to each other and the houses tend to be in bad shape. Check your unit |

What price is consider worth it if looking for a terrace house with at least 3 rooms at taman permata, melawati, wangsa maju or setapak.Added on June 11, 2008, 4:17 pm QUOTE(Syd G @ Jun 11 2008, 03:37 PM) Are you buying for yourself or investment? Check your unit If the house at taman permata i mention above is freehold. Yeah...too near to each other And also near to KL and probably no traffic jem here. Also found a double storey house for RM160k~170k ...modified also and got 3 room but the width only 17 maybe...not too sure. but this unit is a bit far from school and MRR2 although in same taman. Taman Permata is a matured neighbourhood like Cheras. Your neighbours will all be mostly Malays in their 50s & 60s. The roads are a little bit small for my liking because people tend to park at the road side. Lots of cars! But then in KL everywhere also got cars Added on June 11, 2008, 4:17 pm Its for my family.... If the house at taman permata i mention above is freehold. One day in the morning try travelling at 8am through the MRR2 to Cheras. You'll be stuck before the AU Keramat Exit, before the Jalan Ampang Exit and the ever popular Pandan Jaya Exit. I dont know how far you've been staying but I often feel relief that I dont stay in areas beyond AU2 It's near to many facilities, definately. Except for LRT, where you gotta drive for a bit or take a feeder bus to Wangsa Maju station. Sri Rampai LRT should be the nearest LRT to Taman Permata but it's not opened yet. But busses are all good. Here are my tips : 1) Haggle. Just tell the 220k seller that you have another option to buy another house at 160k-170k. Double storey summore. If they're not willing to nego, then KIV that house. RM220k is definately too pricey for a single storey house there. 2) Compare the pros and cons in a wider spectrum. My brother travels at 6:45am everyday to school because he's studying in a really good school in KL. So if its a lil bit further from school its ok cause you can spend a lil bit more for school bus for a couple of years and after that can get peace n freedom already. Schools are noisy. Too near to MRR2 also noisy |
