QUOTE(mnpl @ Nov 4 2008, 02:14 AM) THis add is selling wat? body or handphone? lol... anywayz guys, a little feedback on the GPS. My phone which i got from vodaphone comes with 2 GPS software.. Google maps and "find & go" .. i have tried using google maps but it wont detect your exact location, it will just give u an approximate answer for example. - "your current location is within 500 meters of the circle" , so i dont find this helpful or useful at all. Is it my phone problem or settings problem? I guess you are the only one with the answer. We don't get to play with the phone yet The other software "Find& Go" i have yet to full use it yet. It keeps saying "your location is temporarily unavailable pls try again later".. im quite frustrated with that error msg keep popping out! i have tried standing outdoors for 15 minutes to detect the GPS signal but still same prob. Anyone can help me out with my current issue?? |

Aha, video conference but you cannot see the other person. because c905 only has ONE camera, that's the main camera at the back. But it strikes me hard, as to why there's no front camera too. With WiFi, we can have free video conference calls when we lepak at our fav kopitiam~!!! Maybe they'll release a new version later on, C906.. QUOTE(little ice @ Nov 7 2008, 10:40 PM) there's no reason why xenon flash shouldn't score a lot for most youngsters. i'd rather sacrifice some details for night party photos. even though C905 doesn't score well among other 8mp camera phone, at least it still beat all 5mp camera phone of the previous generations. most importantly, the full resolution is almost not needed, and when's the last time you print out your photo taken by camera phone? yup. even a less than 1k digicam can beat any of the camera phone in the market. but the problem is portability. camera phone has many in 1 function(phone, camera, music, online etc) but a digicamera can only shoot photo. that's it.for me i'm really happy with c905's photo. for casual shooting, convenient always more important than quality imho. i'd buy a cheap digicam if i want quality, even a rm599 digicam already can beat any camera phone. |

because SE didn't get good response when C905 is pre-released to its distributor. This will be another "limited edition" like S700 used to be.
come on people, if you are hesitating whether to get this phone, then this phone is definitely not for you. |

QUOTE(IcedNyior @ Nov 19 2008, 05:30 PM) Renee said the Telstra service center only in KL. Most probably Lowyat Plaza or somewhere near there I guess.QUOTE(deathbringer @ Nov 20 2008, 09:15 AM) i mean, if the C905 is fine so far (AP units), then i dun see the problem in changing phones right now as i feel like flinging my K850i against the wall. but if there are serious problems with the C905 (just like when they launched the K850i, then i would seriously give this phone a miss. would just like some feedback from the ppl who bought AP units of this phone. Then it's definitely advisable that you wait for the ORI set.any problems like phone crashing/hanging, faulty mobo, crappy photos, etc.? (yes, that all happened to my current phone since day 1) |

QUOTE(deathbringer @ Nov 20 2008, 09:52 AM) my current K850i is ORI. bought it just after it launched officially. after 24 hours, the mobo died. that says it all. now as long as the warranty is good, anything will do. sorry to hear about that. well, it's electronic device, you can't expect it to be perfect. even human also does mistake |

QUOTE(Yukaeshi @ Nov 21 2008, 03:41 PM) Finally my fiance got his C905 from Renee- he got his in silver instead of black, and I must say it's a nice colour. The website doesn't do the phone colour justice. Overall my impression of it was good- the build is solid, so are the buttons and keypad. Applications and menu pretty much the same as previous SE phones but their Media folder looks nice and fresh. Call-wise, when he called me to test it, the voice sounds loud and clear, doesn't seem to be fuzzy with static/background interference. He then tried speaker mode, also loud and clear like when you're normally using it. My fiance was more interested in the camera- all different shot types, flash, video playback and recording, voice recording and playback. He's very satisfied with it- the quality is crisp and clear. Haven't really tried out Wi-Fi and GPS though. QUOTE(lethar @ Nov 22 2008, 09:50 PM) just wanna know, does it have video call? i heard some ppl say that this phone doesnt have camera in front. izzit true? It has video call, but no front camera.QUOTE(xiang88 @ Nov 22 2008, 11:09 PM) 50% i would take it. hahaQUOTE(myboo_1988 @ Nov 24 2008, 12:01 AM) This is the AP phone problem. Go consumer association to complain them. Or if you are rich enough, straight away send them a lawyer letter. |
