Just curious why you "hate" BIMB so much?? I thought it is still considered as a fundamental strong company as compared to goreng counter like SAAG.

i dun sense he hatred. He just wanna buy this counter when it reaches 140s'.

For those that ald got this counter on hand, definitely wud love to c this counter up.

Its my entry price, which I believe its justified by earning and future outlook. No much activities by Khazanah, or EPF or others to purchase BIMB in bulk. So, no support from taikor means slim chance to move ahead.

Bro zaman98, if u think it has slim chance to move forward better u avoid this counter.. Different people has different preference

personal's choice. It may move at 4-5 cts a day. So if you got 20-30,000 shares, that is money.

I will join you and hope the price will come down to 1.40!!!

Please guys & gals here, don't follow some selfish, stupid & idiotic people always insisting that he/she wants BIMB share to drop to 1.40++ & giving the wrong impression that BIMB shares will fall to that level. Yes, they give you a wrong picture and hoping that you will feel that BIMB will fall to 1.40 level and then with everyone started selling faster & cheaper by 1 cent each time, thus the possibility of it going below 1.50 is a great possibility. So, please forumers, don't be trick by such old dirty tactics.....yes,,these people are trying to get your shares cheaply, that's for sure. He/she had miss this BIMB boat earlier when it was selling at 1.40++ & seeing BIMB shares going up, he/she regret it and thus spread some news & insisting that it will drop to 1.40 & you being worried will try to dispose it fast & hoping to collect it back cheaper when it drops to 1.40++.......please drop this silly & illogical idea of yours as you will regret it for sure.......please use your own judgment & see the potential of this Bank Islam Malaysia.

Just wonder why there are still stupid people with the stupid fat hope of getting cheap BIMB shares knowing fully well that those days are over.....with the announcement of more good news recently, I am confident it won't fall down to 1.40++. Previously no news are forthcoming from BIMB & that's why it was hovering around 1.20 in October - December 2010.......now with plenty of good news & with BIMB spreading it's wings overseas & the opening of another 21 or more new branches in Malaysia this year, will it's profit or price rise or drop........now you figure it out yourself but pleased don't ever fall for one of the oldest & dirty trick spread by someone whom try to get you to sell your BIMB shares cheaply & he/she sapu them cheaply knowing the full potential of BIMB.

lender PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Sources said Bank Islam was recently invited to bid for a
controlling stake in the Indonesian lender, but decided not to because it was looking too pricey.
"The pricing expectations were too high," one of them told Business Times. Sources said that
apart from pricing issues, Bank Islam also became less keen on Bank Muamalat after a closer
study revealed that the latter's business is predominantly in small-to-medium-enterprise banking

500 captains of industry to attend Invest Malaysia 2011 Conference



ABU DHABI: Some 500 captains of industry from the region will be attending the Invest Malaysia 2011 Conference where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to deliver a keynote address tomorrow.

Malaysia’s big delegation is set to promote the country as the region’s foremost investment and business hub to potential investors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Najib is expected to deliver the keynote address before witnessing the signing of a framework agreement between Malaysia and GCC.

Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) director-general Datuk Jalilah Baba said the conference, a joint effort between 15 government agencies and the private sector, would be an ideal platform to comprehensively promote and project Malaysia’s image as an investment and business haven to potential investors from the Gulf’s oil rich nations.

“The Prime Minister’s presence at the conference will bring confidence to the investors to show them that Malaysia can be the hub for their investment and business in the Asian region,” she told reporters at a press conference here yesterday.

Although Mida and various government agencies had organised business and trade conferences, seminars and workshops in the past, she noted that this was a large scale concerted effort to tap the Gulf countries’ investment potential.

She added that local companies such as Petronas, IJM Corporation, Khazanah Holdings, Propel Bhd and Scomi Group would also use the conference to seek tie-ups with potential investors.

Besides the keynote address and framework agreement, she said the Prime Minister would also be launching the 64-page Invest Malaysia magazine which would provide potential investors a comprehensive overview of business and investment opportunities in Malaysia.

Among the companies participating in the conference are the top 10 companies in UAE, namely Mubadala Development Company, Aabar Investment, Al Ghurair Group, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Burooj, Al Futtaim, Al Qhudra Holding, Emirates Aluminium Company, Sorouh and Abu Dhabi Investment Company.

Also participating are Al Badie Group, Al Fahim Group, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and Mubadala Emirates Investment Authority.
